Your opportunity:
The Health & Wellness Centre at the University of Toronto Scarborough provides health promotion, primary care and counselling services in an interprofessional shared care model. The team delivers student-focused care and support that is compassionate, culturally responsive and evidence-based and supports students in achieving their goals and potential by inspiring hope, promoting healthy choices and supporting the healing process. The team strives to enhance services to students through collaborative partnerships across campus and in the community. The Counsellor/Therapist is a member of Health & Wellness Centre’s Counselling Services team and is embedded within Student Housing & Residence Life. Working under the direction of the Team Lead, Counselling Services and leadership of the Directors the incumbent provides personal counselling using solution/goal focused psychotherapy to students living in residence at the University of Toronto Scarborough. The Counsellor/Therapist is responsible for providing one-at-a-time/single session therapy, brief counselling to individuals, and running psycho-educational workshops and therapy groups.

USW Pay Band 15 -- $95,627. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $122,290. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
