The “Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig - A Place for Healing Our Youth" – “Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying – Where Did We Come From?” is an Indigenous Youth Agency dedicated to providing programming and services to support Indigenous youth in North America. Our mission is to help them become responsible, participating citizens while leading their Indigenous communities.

Youth Program Facilitator will work under the supervision of Director of Toronto and perform the following job duties:
- Design, implement, and evaluate anti‑violence programming aligned with community needs and funder requirements.
- Develop policies, procedures, and program frameworks that support safety, harm reduction, and trauma‑informed practice.
- Coordinate services and supports for participants, ensuring timely follow‑up and appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate program documentation, data collection, and reporting.
- Deliver workshops, presentations, and training on topics such as healthy relationships, safety planning, violence prevention, and community resources.
- Conduct outreach throughout the community, including in a nomadic capacity, to engage participants and strengthen awareness of available supports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Provide culturally respectful, trauma‑informed support to individuals impacted by violence.
- Assist participants with navigating systems, accessing resources, and developing personalized safety plans.
- Advocate for participant needs within community and service networks.
- Oversee day‑to‑day program operations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and funder expectations.
- Supervise staff, students, or volunteers as required.
- Assist with preparing funding proposals, reports, and documentation to sustain and expand programming.
- Work with a team to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere.
- Ensure confidentiality of privileged or sensitive information.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the ENAGB Youth Program.
- Possible weekend work from time to time or other changes to work hours to accommodate planned ENAGB events
- Attendance at Monthly All‑Team Staff Meeting and other meetings as required
- Other related and incidental duties, including general duties ordinarily required of ENAGB employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Social Work, Child & Youth Care, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 - 3 years experience working with youth (12–29) in community‑based, anti‑violence, harm‑reduction, or youth‑focused programs.
- Experience facilitating workshops, training, or group programming.
- Experience with case coordination, referrals, and system navigation (housing, justice, health, education, income supports).
- Experience working with Indigenous youth is an asset.
- Strong understanding of trauma‑informed and culturally safe practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with documentation, case notes, and data entry systems.
- Program planning and facilitation experience is an asset.
Employment Details
- Salary: $30 per hour, 37.5 hours weekly
- Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hours may change depending on Program needs)
- Position Type: Full Time, Contract
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Contract Duration: May, 2026 - July 31, 2026 (Possibility of Extension)
