Overall Function:
The Assembler is responsible for performing final assembly operations on seating products, ensuring all components are fitted, aligned, and secured according to product specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble chairs and seating components such as bases, arms, backs and mechanisms according to work instructions and drawings.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and fixtures to perform assembly tasks efficiently and safely.
- Inspect finished products for defects, fit, and function, ensuring conformance to quality standards.
- Report material shortages, defects, or production issues to the lead hand or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and ergonomic procedures.
- Adhere to daily production targets and participate in team-based problem solving.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly, preferably in furniture or seating production.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
