This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.

Reporting to the Community Safety Unit Field Supervisor, Cadets will participate in an apprenticeship-style program to gain insight and experience in community engagement and law enforcement. Cadets will acquire practical knowledge, skills and experience working with a diverse population and enrich their experience in diversity and cultural sensitivity. The Cadets will build leadership skills, set and achieve goals, and develop customer service skills. They will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with TCHC staff and other stakeholders and have hands-on experience working for a social housing provider. Cadets will learn about working in a healthy, diverse and respectable environment. All successful Cadets will participate in a five-week formalized training course and programs in-class and on-hands.
