The “Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig - A Place for Healing Our Youth" – “Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying – Where Did We Come From?” is an Indigenous Youth Agency dedicated to providing programming and services to support Indigenous youth in North America. Our mission is to help them become responsible, participating citizens while leading their Indigenous communities.

Under the direct supervision of Cultural Manager the Cultural Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinate all cultural and language programming at our locations, ensuring alignment with ENAGB’s mission and value.
• Administration of the land based programming, including bookkeeping, procurement of supplies and logistical support for the activities.
• Work collaboratively with the cultural team and support the Cultural Manager in pursuing the program’s goals and objectives.
• Seek and apply for funding to continue and enhance our culture/language programming
• Organize and administer the land advisory council meetings and notes
• Creating promotional materials for programs, events, workshops, etc. to share on various social media, including Facebook and Instagram, and through other online formats.
• Develop connections and collaborate with agencies and elders, as well as with other departments at ENAGB.
• Register the youth that are not registered to ENAGB, Providing them with opportunities to learn about their specific cultures. 
• Offer support and guidance to youth with diverse backgrounds and needs, facilitating their exploration and understanding of their cultural heritage.
• Input all programming data into our database system to track participation and support.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of ENAGB Youth Program
• Other related duties as it related to the position

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cultural programming knowledge and experience of 2 years.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Indigenous (Inuit, Metis or First Nation) history/background.
• Fluent in an indigenous language and knowledge of Indigenous cultures is an asset.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Adequate energy and ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR.
• A cleared Criminal Reference check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A positive, fun-loving attitude.
• The ability to work as a team and be self-motivated.

Compensation and Location

Salary: $30/hr

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Position Type: Contract, Full-Time 

Location: Toronto, ON

Contract Duration: August 2026, to March 31, 2027
