About Us

The “Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig - A Place for Healing Our Youth" – “Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying – Where Did We Come From?” is an Indigenous Youth Agency dedicated to providing programming and services to support Indigenous youth in North America. Our mission is to help them become responsible, participating citizens while leading their Indigenous communities.

Youth Program Facilitator will work under the supervision of Cultural Manager and perform the following job duties:

  • Provide programming at the 190 Emmett Ave location during weekdays and occasional weekends as needed
  • Plan and deliver a minimum of 8 hours of Right To Play programming per week, including completing documentation through the program portal
  • Ensure a culturally safe and trauma-informed approach that reflects the needs of Indigenous youth
  • Set up and maintain a clean, welcoming drop-in programming space
  • Develop calendars, posters, and promotional materials in collaboration with the ENAGB Youth Council
  • Ensure all youth participants are registered in the program
  • Complete accurate and timely data entry and case notes
  • Engage directly with youth to encourage participation and build positive relationships
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Maintain confidentiality of all participant information
  • Follow all ENAGB Youth Program policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications 

  • Must be currently enrolled in school
  • Must maintain a minimum academic average of 50% (in good standing)
  • Experience working with Indigenous youth (ages 12–29) is an asset
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practices
  • Experience in program planning and facilitation is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable with documentation and data entry systems

Employment Details

  • Salary: $30/hr
  • Hours: 75 Hours a month, Monday to Thursdays with select Fridays from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Position Type: Part Time, Contract
  • Location: Toronto, ON
  • Contract Duration:  May, 2026 - December 31, 2026
