Qualifications:
- Graduate or enrolled in a Dietitians of Canada recognized two year Community College Program in Food & Nutrition Management or a four year Nutrition Undergraduate Degree.
- Previous experience as a Dietetic Technician preferred.
- Computer experience required ¿ Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, familiarity with diet office software preferred.
- Working knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Ability to effectively advise and counsel patients with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Proven ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Satisfactory attendance record.
Shift / Hours of Work: 1 PM to 6 PM and 6 AM to 2 PM. Must be available to work 3 out of 4 weekends, typically scheduled for every other weekend.
Length of Temporary Contract: 12 months
