The “Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig - A Place for Healing Our Youth" – “Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying – Where Did We Come From?” is an Indigenous Youth Agency dedicated to providing programming and services to support Indigenous youth in North America.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the Shelter, Transition House and Reaching Homes Program
- Oversee the expansion of housing supports including shelter transition subsidies
- Create coordinated access pathways to housing and supports
- Ensure all youth accessing ENAGB are fully registered in the program
- Engage directly with youth to provide high‑quality culturally grounded care
- Attend monthly Youth Council meetings and maintain strong youth‑centered communication
- Build and maintain partnerships with other organizations and community agencies to support vulnerable Indigenous youth
- Support the onboarding, orientation and training of new staff
- Ensure team timesheets are completed accurately and approved on schedule
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the department
- Prepare statistical and program reports
- Provide regular reporting to management to demonstrate alignment with organizational strategy.
- Monitor program budgets and ensure responsible financial management
- Seek and apply for future funding opportunities to support program growth
- Write proposals and contribute to grant applications
- Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information
- Adhere to ENAGB Youth Program policies, procedures and organizational standards
- Complete additional management and other duties as identified from time to time by the Director
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or a combination of work experience of at least 2-3 years in related fields.
- Management and supervisory experience.
- Ability to be open, non-judgemental and willing to learn
- Must have extensive knowledge of the Indigenous community (Inuit, Metis or First Nation).
- Fluent in an Indigenous language and knowledge of Indigenous cultures is an asset.
- Adequate energy and ability to meet the physical, and mental demands of the job.
- A valid Standard First Aid and CPR.
- A valid G license is a mandatory requirement.
- A positive, fun-loving attitude.
- The ability to work as a team and be self-motivated.
- Cleared Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSC) is mandatory.
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Compensation and Location
- Salary: $95,500 yearly
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Position Type: Full-time, Contract
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Contract Duration: April 1 - June 30, 2027
