Job Title: Facilitator – Indigenous Youth Outreach Program (IYOP)

About Level Justice and IYOP
Level Justice is a national non-profit committed to eliminating systemic barriers to justice. Our Indigenous Youth Outreach Program (IYOP) is a hands-on legal education and mentorship initiative that connects Indigenous youth with legal professionals through culturally grounded workshops, mock trials, and restorative justice experiences.
Position Summary
Facilitators are key members of the IYOP team, working directly with Indigenous youth to deliver engaging, culturally responsive, and empowering legal education programming. Facilitators guide youth through a mock trial curriculum, support youth voices, and help foster understanding of the Canadian legal system through an Indigenous lens.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, access to justice, and building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities.

Compensation
Facilitators are paid $30/h per lesson delivered, up to $90. This includes 2 hours of preparation time and 1 hour of lesson delivery. The Facilitator is responsible for transportation and arriving on time for each lesson.
We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit. Priority will be given to those with lived experience or a demonstrated commitment to working with Indigenous communities.
