As a Project Management intern, some of your roles and responsibilities may include:

  • Participate in maintenance and creation of project documentation (e.g. safety, materials, change orders, quantities, and productivity records)
  • Learn to interpret project contract documents and drawings
  • Participate in client meetings and interpreting requirements
  • Understand the process and details involved with project scheduling and planning
  • Assist with equipment and material sourcing
  • Correspond with subcontractors and suppliers for information and pricing
  • Learn how to prepare quantity take-offs supporting the estimating stage of the project lifecycle
  • Assist with invoicing and preparing supporting documentation, tracking and request forms
  • Participate in activities in both an office setting as well as off-site jobsite
  • Assist the team in performing technical activities that support department programs and projects
  • Provide general administrative support to team
  • Other duties as required in related projects to solidify the learning experience


REQUIREMENTS

  • A great attitude and enthusiasm for learning
  • Available May to August 2026
  • Strong academic record with a passion for your field of study
  • Previous work or volunteer experience highlighting your attitude, collaboration, and enthusiasm to continually grow
  • Completed or pursuing a degree or diploma in a related field, including but not limited to:
    • Project management
    • Nuclear/Power Generation
    • Building systems engineering / technician / technologist
    • Civil engineering / technician / technologist
    • Construction engineering technology
    • Construction management
    • Electrical engineering / technician / technologist
    • Environmental engineering / technician / technologist
    • Estimating
    • Instrumentation engineering / technician / technologist
    • Mechanical engineering / technician / technologist
    • Power systems engineering / technician / technologist


Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $21-24/hour dependent on education level, skills and experience.
