Essential Functions of the Job:
- As the first contact, present a positive and professional image of Nishnawbe Homes Zhaawnong Gamik to all staff, tenants, visitors, inquires and other interactions;
- Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision;
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner, taking messages;
- Processing incoming/outgoing mail and courier distribution;
- Light cleaning and Building rounds will be required;
- Responsible for recording rental payments
- Provide documentation with shift reports
- Work as a team member within all of Nishnawbe Homes administration;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Demonstrates sound judgment regarding confidential & sensitive matters;
- Must be computer literate and have general knowledge of Microsoft Applications;
- Must have the ability to maintain self-composure in stressful/emergency situations;
- Must be able to organize and prioritize workload effectively;
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of working with the Indigenous community;
- Must be punctual, professional and reliable.
- WHMIS/First Aid is an asset.
