TAF is a regional climate agency that invests in low-carbon solutions for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and helps scale them up for broad implementation. About TAF’s Project Management Lead:

At The Atmospheric Fund (TAF), we turn bold climate ideas into real‑world impact. Through our Retrofit Accelerator, we help transform multi‑family buildings across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) by supporting deep energy retrofits that cut emissions, improve health, and deliver long‑term economic value.

We’re looking for a Project Management Lead who thrives on keeping complex work moving, loves making systems run smoothly, and wants to contribute to meaningful climate solutions. What you’ll do:

Project Coordination & Administration 

• Support retrofit projects and associated initiatives across all phases of the project lifecycle
• Track project tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables using project management tools
• Prepare and share clear, timely updates on project status, issues, and constraints
• Maintain accurate, well‑organized, and up‑to‑date project documentation and records
• Draft and coordinate the execution of service contracts and collaboration agreements in line with TAF policies, governance requirements, and templates
• Process invoices by coordinating with project team members and the Finance team to ensure accurate coding, approvals, and timely payment

Team Support & Collaboration 

• Coordinate internal and external project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, note‑taking, and tracking action items
• Work closely with team members to support accurate, up‑to‑date project budgets and spending tracking
• Collaborate across teams to support alignment, information sharing, and smooth project delivery

Project Evaluation, Reporting & Process Improvement 

• Support reporting required by funding agreements, including working with the Finance team to reconcile financial statements
• Contribute to the development and tracking of key performance indicators for financial and progress reporting
• Support data organization and assist with database development and maintenance
• Help refine project management and reporting processes by contributing to shared best practices and standards 

Organizational Excellence 

• Contribute to TAF’s culture of collaboration, innovation, and impact
• Represent TAF professionally in meetings and collaborative settings, building strong working relationships
• Engage across teams to support integration, alignment, and coordination on cross‑functional initiatives
• Participate in staff‑wide initiatives, including meetings, working groups, planning sessions, and professional development activities

Knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:       

Education: Post secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g. project management, business administration, urban planning) or equivalent work experience. 

Work Experience: At least two years’ progressive experience in and administrative or project or a related role, preferably in buildings or sustainability. 

Project Management: Proven ability to coordinate and monitor projects, manage budgets, maintain accurate documentation and file management systems. 

Communication & Collaboration: Able to communicate clearly to ensure understanding, respond patiently to inquiries, and work well with internal teams and external partners. 

Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Organized and resourceful, able to balance multiple tasks, troubleshoot challenges, and suggest improvements to processes. 

Administrative Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and budgeting; experience with Salesforce is an asset. 

Mobility: Ability to travel occasionally throughout the GTHA as needed (vehicle not required). 

What we offer:

The starting annual salary range for this role is $67,000 to $71,000. We use an established pay grid and follow a consistent an equitable approach to compensation to ensure fairness across our team and equal pay for equal work. Candidates whose experience and qualifications exceed the listed requirements may be offered a starting salary at the higher end of the posted range.
