Keepers of the Circle is launching an exciting new program, Amik Wigiwamikewen, a free online training initiative that will feature educational videos designed to support unions, employers, apprentices, Indigenous Peoples, and other underrepresented groups in the skilled trades. The goal is to help participants expand their knowledge and skills in environmentally conscious construction practices that contribute to healthier homes and sustainable communities.

Heritage Restoration Masonry is a specialized area within the masonry trade focused on conserving, repairing, restoring, and altering heritage masonry structures — typically buildings constructed prior to the 1940s — using traditional methods and materials. This project will provide an apprentice with the opportunity to work on several restoration projects in the Toronto area, ranging from small repair jobs to larger rebuild and restoration projects.
