The Opportunity

As part of the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund (DWF) team, the Data & Impact Assistant will support DWF’s impact measurement work through data collection, management, and analysis. The Data & Impact Assistant will also support the ongoing development and automation of DWF’s database, Salesforce, as well as data entry, clean-up, and general administrative tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Use various platforms, such as Salesforce, to monitor and collect data on DWF key performance indicators for continuous evaluation of all DWF programs, initiatives, and events, including the DWF Fund
  • Support with Salesforce administration such as user management, maintaining fields, objects reports, dashboards, workflows, campaigns and other Salesforce functions
  • Data entry to improve data quality and integrity by merging duplicates, performing imports and updates as required
  • Assist analysis of DWF’s evaluation, business, and operations to determine success and impact
  • Assist in resolving service request tickets by all departments to ensure DWF services and system operations remain functional

• Work across departments to gather qualitative and quantitative data to understandDWF's impact of reconciliation within stakeholders and Canada.

And other projects as assigned to help keep DWF moving forward, with a view to long-term sustainability, growth, and broad community engagement.

    • Must be registered with Miziwe Biik Aboriginal Employment and Training (note: registration can be completed during the application/interview process)
    • Strong time management skills with an ability to plan, define measurable objectives, outcomes and meet timelines
    • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, internet, and general office equipment
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
    • High attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks consistently and effectively
    • Demonstrated professionalism and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality
    • Knowledge on data regulations, privacy, ethical use of data, data sharing, and access management is considered an asset
    • Experience with data fundraising software is considered an asset
