About the Role
The IT Operations & Cohort Lead is a central execution role in Phase 1 operations. You'll combine direct IT service delivery with structured cohort coordination — ensuring program integrity, client productivity, and funder-ready documentation. Reports to the Senior IT Service & Workforce Lead. The role is split roughly 50/50 between billable client work and cohort support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1–2 MSP support to MGPN clients and maintain ticketing system accuracy
- Coordinate with the Workforce Coordinator on participant intake and eligibility
- Facilitate structured weekly cohort check-ins and monitor attendance/engagement
- Assign scoped, role-aligned applied work tasks and review deliverables
- Maintain competency scorecards and provide structured technical feedback
- Flag wage activation readiness for Senior Lead approval (does not approve independently)
- Track billable hours strictly separate from program time
Required
- 3+ years in IT support, MSP, or digital operations
- Experience in structured or compliance-oriented environments
- Strong documentation and organizational discipline
- Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience supporting workforce or training programs
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and MSP workflows
- Exposure to QA processes or cybersecurity basics
- Knowledge of or connection to Indigenous communities or Indigenous-led organizations
Compensation & Environment
- $25–$29/hr CAD + performance-based incentive potential
- Full-time, immediate start available
- Fully remote within Ontario
