Landscape Working Crew Lead Trainee

Hours 7-hour day. 5-day a week (Monday to Friday)

Pay 22.00 dollars an hour. (26 weeks) 

Start date April 21, 2026 End Date October 12, 2026

Work locations near Spadina and Bloor St West

Duties:  

a. Crew Lead gives direction to Trainee participants and volunteers in groundskeeping care of urban green spaces. (Gardening, basic carpentry, and additional duties as assigned.)

b. Crew Lead will take delivery of materials delivery at site. 

c. Crew Lead provide time sheets and reports to the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

a. Must have at least three years’ experience in groundskeeping care of an urban green space. (Gardening, carpentry, and additional duties as assigned.)

b. Must be willing to work outside. 

c. Must be physically able to do moderate lifting.

d. Participants must have Certified Work Safety boots with a visible green triangle patch.
