Overall Function:
The role of Line Loader / Unloader involves handling, moving, loading and/or unloading materials by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment. They load and/or unload parts and finished goods onto and off of the conveyer system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Move product or parts onto and off of conveyor system, or trailers
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
- Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks and to store and retrieve materials in warehouses
- Operate equipment to dump materials such as coal, ore and grain into or to remove materials from railway cars, trucks or other vehicles
- Operate pump trucks to transfer products to and from other storage areas
- May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling orders, assist in taking inventory, and weighing and checking materials.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
- Additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Capable of repeated physical effort, lifting/carrying up to 20kg
- High school diploma.
- Experience in a warehouse or production facility.
- Able to communicate in English, verbal and written
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Ability to stand on feet during working shift hours.
- Ability to use standard hand and small power tools is an asset.

Ability to Use Hands: Required to Hold, Grip; Lift, Push, Pull.

Required to perform 7-8 hours per shift.

Back: Able to bend and twist Back 5 - 6 hours per shift but not repetitive.
Neck: Able to bend and twist Neck 5 - 6 hours per shift but not repetitive.
