Join our dynamic Business Innovation team within Sun Life Global Investments as a Distribution Operations Support specialist. This fast-paced role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on our sales teams' success while working collaboratively with skilled colleagues.

As a member of our team, you will be accountable for completing assigned Business Partner requests in a timely and accurate manner within service level agreements.  By completing and maintaining requests, you will enable the sales teams’ we support their ability to manage their sales territory and target opportunities.  This role requires you to have excellent communication and business partner service skills, proven time-management skills, and the demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment.  Distribution Operation Support is part of the Business Innovation team within Sun Life Global Investments and you’ll report to the Senior Business Partner Consultant. 

What will you do?

  • Establish strong collaborative working relationships with Business Partners from all three Distribution Teams, Insurance Independent Distribution, Sun Life Financial Distribution Insurance and Wealth Distribution to help solve business problems with creative solutions
  • Manage and execute work in-take requests from our business partners via our Customer Management Tool (CRM) and our internal team email in-box
  • Accurately and efficiently create new advisor records and maintain data within CRM
  • Perform Internal Data Audits which include data analysis, identification of discrepancies and completing the notification procedures
  • Support the preparation and submission of JIRA tickets which could include data analysis, creation of submission file and verification of results
  • Identify improvements with our Business Operational Process documentation

What do you need to succeed?

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team with a strong service-oriented mindset
  • Project & Priority Management: Proven track record managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting tight deadlines
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solver who develops analytical solutions leveraging business processes and technology to drive results
  • Adaptability: Flexible and quick-thinking professional who thrives in dynamic environments where priorities shift and responds with efficiency and accuracy
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related field
  • Client-focused individual contributor with a commitment to efficient and accurate task completion

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including advanced functions (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with data creation and maintenance in Client Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work
  • Experience with Sales Enablement Tool, Event Management Tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics Software an asset
