Nestled on the picturesque shores of Sparrow Lake in the enchanting Muskoka region of
Ontario: Camp Winston is a haven for children and youth with neurobiological disorders (e.g. Autism, ADHD, PTSD). Offering a respite from their everyday challenges, the camp provides a unique sanctuary where children can develop friendships,have new experiences, and learn essential life skills under the guidance of the devoted Camp Winston staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Care for campers ages 7-17 in a designated cabin group.
● Counselors will at all times be positive, will create an emotionally safe environment, will plan and set kids up for success and will teach like skills.
● Supporting campers to have good hygiene by:
● Managing a cabin’s welfare, safety and security by promoting a safe environment and responding to crisis using trained CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention techniques (provided free of cost during regularily scheduled training).
● Using collaborative problem solving to maximize a camper’s engagement with the program and partcipate in programs with enthusiasm.

● Camp Counsellors will live onsite from June until the end of August
● Hours will vary during the time of employment at camp.
