This role provides support to Sun Life corporate mobile users in North America. This role requires excellent customer service, ability to work fully independently and have the aptitude to learn and become adept at using several different applications.
Work Environment: This co-op opportunity is voluntarily in person, remote or hybrid. If you decide remote or hybrid, you will be required to work within the province. Remote work outside of the province will not be a possibility.
Term Length: 12 months preferred (Sept 2025 - Sept 2026)
What will you do?
- The Mobile Device Support Analyst will be responsible for providing end-user support for mobile devices(i.e. iPhones, iPads)
- Assist with the daily monitoring of the DBTS Wireless Inbox and Service Now Intake requests and responds pro-actively to inquiries or concerns
- Fulfills and closes Service Now tickets in a timely manner
- Tracking of end user issues and coordinating with vendors and different SLF support teams for resolution
- Assist with tracking and updating inventory in Inventory Mgmt System
- Assist with updating/maintenance of the wireless community pages
- Assist with documentation and reporting
- Assist with developing schedules and reports in Excel for tracking user migration to different wireless carriers and wireless device upgrades and developing PowerPoint summaries of progress
What do you need to succeed?
- This opportunity is available to students with a December 2025 or later graduation date
- Basic knowledge of iOS
- Evaluating procedural problems and existing equipment configurations, and recommending solutions that do not introduce massive changes or risk to the company.
- Analyzing new technology features introduced by different vendors for applicability to the company
- Technical writing skills – documenting tests to be performed and results
- Telecommunications - knowledge of the existing and planned telecommunications platforms and the global, regional and local telecommunications architecture and infrastructure components
- Service Excellence - ability to understand customer needs and expectations, provide excellent service in direct and indirect manner, and fulfill customer expectations
