The Packer is responsible for preparing finished furniture products for shipment by wrapping, boxing, labeling, and inspecting items to ensure they are properly protected and meet quality standards before delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pack finished products items securely using protective materials such as foam, blankets, cardboard, and shrink wrap.
  • Ensure all items are properly labeled and matched with the correct shipping or delivery documentation.
  • Inspect furniture pieces for damage or defects before packing.
  • Use specified packaging materials according to the BOMs and SOPs.
  • Operate basic tools and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Stack and organize packed items in designated shipping areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Report any damaged products or packaging material shortages to the supervisor.
  • Follow company policies and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Assist in other areas of the production as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in packing or warehousing, preferably in furniture manufacturing, is a plus.
  • Ability to handle bulky and heavy items with care.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and work on your feet for extended periods.

  • Ability to Use Hands: Constant (packing, taping, wrapping)
